About Waggy Dogs
Waggy Dogs have more fun! They are happy, healthy, well cared for and full of life. This website exists to promote responsible dog ownership and offers help, advice and information for your dogs and pets. A great animal lover,I am an experienced dog owner and have also had cats. My cats, Oscar and Monty, have now gone to live with friends and family due to increased friction between my dog, Barney, and them! They are settled and doing well. In January 2008 my husband arrived home with a tiny puppy! Another "rescued" dog. Only four weeks old and rejected by her mother as the runt. Her name is Milly, she is doing very well and will soon be putting in an appearance on Waggy Dogs! Waggy Dogs aims to give you access to pet related services for your local area and on the internet. Guides for choosing and caring for a dog and also how to have fun together! Rescue dogs are a particular passion of mine and I have dedicated some pages to their cause. Owning a dog or any pet is so rewarding and they give so much to those that love and care for them. Through the Waggy Dogs website I hope to give something back by providing the opportunity to donate to some of my favourite charities. Please donate if you can. This year I am proud to be supporting Marie Curie Cancer Care as my human charity.In August 2007 Barney, my husband and myself, all took part in a sponsored dog walk at Catton Park, Walton-on-Trent, South Derbyshire. There were lots of dogs and owners and we all had a great time, a super walk and raised plenty of money for the charity. Marie Curie often hold fundraising events for dog owners so I will keep you updated. Best Wishes, Gill.
