Millys Story

Millys story is all about an rescued Jack Russell puppy. Still only six weeks old she was abandoned by her mum and now lives with me and my family. The smallest and considered the runt of the litter. The breeder said he wouldn't be able to sell her and she would have to go to the RSPCA.

Thats how one day completely unplanned my husband walked in the door with a three week old puppy, after a chance meeting in a pub! A story enough to melt any heart.

Millys mum had stopped feeding her and she was being pushed out of the litter as sadly, happens sometimes. The breeder had been hand rearing her. My husband said he knew we could give her a good home even though we were not geared up for a puppy! I am still getting to grips with a new job and trying to start a new fitness regime - both take me out of home more. Some of my work, including this website can be done at home but with regular interruptions from a demanding JR puppy. Not forgetting Barney my adult dog too! I had to rush out next day and spend a fortune on puppy stuff!

Barney is coping well to this little, mischevious bundle that has turned things upside down. We can't leave them alone yet and we have to watch carefully as Barney is so big that he could really hurt Milly, although unintentionally. They are both desperate to have fun and play together, they sniff and wag tails. Milly goes to Barneys crate and teases Barney when he is in it too!
